Our heritage enriches us, inspires us, enlightens us and guides us in our growth and development. Ministry of Culture

staff will lead participants in learning about the heritage conservation tools and legislation available to a community.

This includes updates on the new Ontario Heritage Act, Planning reform and the Historic Places Initiative.

Session 3 – Designation under the Ontario Heritage Act and Nomination to the Canadian Register of Historic Places

St. Jacobs Schoolhouse Theatre – 11 Albert Street – St. Jacobs, ON

Who should attend?

Councillors, municipal staff, Municipal Heritage Committee members and community members involved in the

conservation of heritage properties
