Cityscape 2005 enjoyed tremendous success with a total of 23,552 participants visiting from 85 countries, a growth of 220% on the previous year's participation. More than 280 exhibitors >From 29 countries showcased their projects and services on 11,000 (net) sq metres of exhibition space.
 

 
The breadth of international participation establishes Cityscape officially as the most diverse property event in the world. Cityscape saw a plethora of project launches, investments and joint ventures announced during the 3-day event.
 
Cityscape employed the services of an independent company based in the UK to conduct research of the visitors and exhibitors. The results have been collected and the company has produced a report that you can download by clicking here
 
 
 

The Cityscape Exhibition

The floorspace for Cityscape 2006 has increased by 50% bringing the total size of this year's event to over 16,000 (net) sq metres. Already o ver 80% of the exhibition is confirmed to major international and regional players, nine months before the event is due to commence.

The Cityscape Conference
The Cityscape 2006 Conference, now in its 10^th year, is a unique much needed platform for international developers looking to source inward investment from the Middle East region and international investors seeking investment opportunities in what is clearly one of the most vibrant property development markets in the world. In 2005 the Cityscape conference played host to 700 of the most significant investors, lenders, owners, and developers.
 
 
 
 

Cityscape Architectural Review Awards
Cityscape 2006 features the prestigious architectural awards - "Design For An Emerging World". The aim is to recognise and promote excellence in architecture and design, and the 300 entries received last year are sure to be surpassed this year.

Over 600 international professionals from the architectural and property development community attended the Cityscape Architectural Review Awards (CARA) 2005 ceremony and gala dinner. They were treated to a spectacular night of extravagance honouring architecture in the emerging world.

World Architecture Congress (WAC)
2005 saw the launch of the World Architecture Congress @ Cityscape. Over 200 leaders in architecture and design gathered from around the world – the first high profile architectural congress ever to take place in the Middle East. In 2006 the WAC is set to grow significantly.
 
 
 
 

 Cityscape Golf Tournament
Last year this prestigious event was sponsored by Nakheel and took place on Sept 16^th (the day before the opening of the exhibition). It brought together an exclusive group of regional and international high net-worth individuals for an 18-hole tournament.
 
 
 
 

 International Meeting Point (IMP)
The IMP is a networking evening that takes place on the second day of the event once the exhibition doors have closed. The purpose of the evening is to ensure the international attendees have the opportunity to network with the other local and international attendees in an informal atmosphere.
