In Celebration of Architecture Week – Hosted by the GVCA
Technology and Scotch Tasting

The Grand Valley Construction Association invites the GVSA to an open session on technology in the architectural field. A gourmet lunch and refreshments will be served and, of course, scotch tasting!

Exhibit: Now & Then –
The Philip Steet Generation


Time: Exhibition Tour: 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 27th (till Nov. 6, 2005)
Place: Cambridge Galleries, Design at Riverside (Melville Street School of Architecture)
Cost: Free of charge

The tour is hosted by Cambridge Galleries. This exhibit takes a look at the projects of an extraordinary generation of Waterloo architectural grads from the days of the “Phillip Street Studio”,1978 to 1982, which “was notorious for its spirit of innovation and rebellion, rockin’ music and great parties”.

Speaker: Tye Farrow, OAA of the Farrow Partnership Architects
Topic: Brittle Cities at the Tipping Point

GVSA Canoe trip on the French River

Time: Saturday, Sunday & Monday, October 1st thru 3rd, 2004
Location: Amongst the fall colours of the French and Pickerel Rivers
