With the adoption of the Canadian Green Building Council LEED standard for public procurement in many municipalities across Canada, green roofs promise to play a key role in attaining many LEED credits.  The City of Waterloo recently finished an award winning Green Roof Feasibility Study and has installed an 1600^m2 extensive green roof system on the City Centre.  The City is currently developing green roof incentives.  Come learn about this rapidly growing new technology.
